Life Insurance

An endowment policy combines protection and saving in one plan. You pay premiums for a fixed term, for example 20 years. If you pass away before the term ends, your named beneficiary receives the full sum assured. If you survive to maturity, you receive a lump sum made up of the sum assured plus accrued bonuses. Endowments build savings discipline, earn bonuses that help offset inflation, and acquire a surrender value after about three years. They are ideal for medium-to-long-term goals such as buying property, starting a project, or building a guaranteed nest egg, with maturity benefits that are currently tax-free in Kenya.

Your Journey
  1. Tap Buy & share your details
  2. We recommend a term & sum assured
  3. Complete the proposal form
  4. Pay your first premium
  5. Policy issued — start saving

An education policy is a special endowment designed to guarantee your child's schooling, from primary all the way to university. You save through regular premiums that grow with annual and terminal bonuses, and the plan pays out guaranteed lump sums at key education stages. Crucially, it has built-in life cover: if anything happens to you, the plan continues and your child's education is still fully funded. Payments are flexible (monthly, quarterly or annually), maturity benefits are currently tax-free, and many plans require no medical exam for modest cover amounts. It is the disciplined way to make sure school fees are never in doubt.

Your Journey
  1. Tap Buy & share your details
  2. We size the cover to future fees
  3. Complete the proposal form
  4. Pay your first premium
  5. Policy issued — fees secured

Keyman (or key-person) cover protects a business against the financial loss that would follow the death or disability of a key individual, an owner, partner, or essential employee whose skills, relationships or leadership drive revenue. The business takes out and pays for the policy on that person's life, and receives the payout to cushion the disruption: covering lost income, recruiting and training a replacement, settling debts, or reassuring lenders and partners. For many SMEs, the founder is the business; keyman cover ensures the company can survive a sudden loss rather than collapse with it.

Your Journey
  1. Tap Buy & tell us about the business
  2. We value the key person's contribution
  3. Complete proposal & any medicals
  4. Pay the premium
  5. Business protected

Whole life cover protects you for your entire life rather than a fixed term, paying a guaranteed lump sum to your beneficiaries whenever you pass on (some plans run to a set age such as 65, paying you if you survive to maturity). With critical illness and disability riders added, the policy also pays out while you are still alive if you are diagnosed with a serious illness or become permanently disabled, giving you funds for treatment and to replace lost income. It is the cornerstone of legacy planning: certain protection for your family, plus living benefits when you need them most.

Your Journey
  1. Tap Buy & share your details
  2. We design cover & riders for you
  3. Complete proposal & medicals
  4. Pay your first premium
  5. Lifelong protection in force

Term assurance is pure, affordable protection for a defined period, typically 10 to 25 years. If you pass away within the term, your beneficiaries receive the full sum assured; if you outlive the term, the cover simply ends with no payout. Because there is no savings component, term cover gives you the largest amount of protection for the lowest premium, making it perfect for covering a specific responsibility: a mortgage, a loan, or your family's income during your working and child-raising years. It is the most cost-effective way to make sure your dependants are protected if the worst happens.

Your Journey
  1. Tap Buy & share your details
  2. We match the term to your need
  3. Complete the proposal form
  4. Pay your premium
  5. Cover activated

A life savings plan blends modest life protection with a structured, goal-based savings vehicle. You commit to regular premiums, and the plan accumulates value over time with bonuses or interest, while a life cover element protects the goal if you pass away before reaching it. It instils savings discipline, helps you accumulate towards a defined target such as a deposit, a wedding, or a business, and provides a tax-friendly, professionally managed alternative to leaving money idle. Ideal for anyone who wants to save consistently while keeping a layer of protection around their plan.

Your Journey
  1. Tap Buy & set your savings goal
  2. We structure premium & term
  3. Complete the proposal form
  4. Pay your first premium
  5. Start growing your savings

General Insurance

Motor insurance protects you against the financial cost of accidents, theft, fire and damage involving your vehicle, and against claims from other road users. By law (Cap 405 of the Traffic Act), every vehicle on a Kenyan public road must carry at least third-party cover. We help you choose the right level and structure for how you use your vehicle.

The three main types of motor cover:

ComprehensiveThe most complete protection — covers accidental damage to your own vehicle plus theft, fire and natural events, as well as injury or damage you cause to others. Best for new, financed, or higher-value vehicles. Can be extended with windscreen, riot & strike, flood, towing and driver personal accident.
Third PartyThe legal minimum. Covers your liability for injury, death, or property damage you cause to others, but not damage to your own vehicle. The most affordable option, practical for lower-value vehicles.
Time on RiskShort-period cover for when you only need insurance for a limited time — for example while finalising a longer policy, moving a vehicle, or covering a temporary need. You pay only for the period you're actually on cover.

Your Journey

  2. Tap Buy & share vehicle details & use
  3. We recommend the right cover type
  4. Vehicle valuation (if comprehensive)
  5. Cover note issued same day
Comprehensive Add-Ons (optional)

Home insurance protects your most valuable asset and everything inside it. It combines cover for the building structure and your household contents against risks like fire, theft, flood and accidental damage, and typically covers domestic workers against injury in the course of employment. It also protects you against third-party liability if a visitor is injured or their property is damaged at your home. It can be taken by a homeowner, a landlord, or a tenant (for contents). It turns a potential catastrophe, a fire or burglary, into a manageable claim rather than a devastating loss.

Your Journey
  1. Tap Buy & describe your home
  2. We assess building & contents value
  3. Complete proposal & payment
  4. Policy documents issued
  5. Home & family protected

Medical insurance protects you and your family from the high cost of healthcare. It covers treatment when you fall ill or are injured — typically including inpatient (hospital admission, surgery, and accommodation) and optional outpatient (clinic visits, consultations, prescribed medicine and diagnostics), and can be extended to include maternity, dental and optical. Cover can be taken individually, for your family, or as a group scheme for a business and its employees. With healthcare costs rising, a medical plan means a serious illness or hospital stay becomes a manageable claim rather than a financial crisis, giving you access to quality care without draining your savings.

Your Journey
  1. Select the benefits you need below
  2. Tap Buy & tell us who needs cover
  3. We recommend the right limits
  4. Complete the proposal & declarations
  5. Access quality healthcare
Select the benefits you need

Personal accident cover pays out if you suffer injury, disability, or death as a result of an accident. It typically provides compensation for medical expenses, a lump sum for permanent disability, and a death benefit to your family, plus in some cases an income replacement while you recover. It is affordable and can be bought standalone or added to a motor policy (since drivers are not covered by standard motor insurance). It is a sensible safety net for anyone, especially drivers, frequent travellers, and breadwinners whose income would stop if an accident kept them from working.

Your Journey
  1. Tap Buy & share your details
  2. We pick the right benefit level
  3. Complete the short proposal
  4. Pay your premium
  5. Cover activated

Business insurance is a suite of covers that protects a company's people, property and operations. It can include fire and perils on premises and stock, burglary, public and product liability, professional indemnity, employer's liability and WIBA (work injury benefits), goods in transit, money, fidelity guarantee, and business interruption that replaces lost income after an insured event. We assess your specific industry and risks and assemble the right combination so a single fire, theft, lawsuit, or accident does not threaten the survival of the business. Essential for SMEs, professionals, retailers, and manufacturers alike.

Your Journey
  1. Tick the covers you need below
  2. Tap Buy & tell us about the business
  3. We do a risk assessment
  4. Receive a tailored package quote
  5. Complete proposal & payment

Aviation insurance covers aircraft and the unique liabilities of operating them. It typically includes hull cover for physical loss or damage to the aircraft (in flight, taxiing, or on the ground), passenger and third-party liability, and cover for crew and cargo as required. It serves private owners, charter operators, flight schools and commercial fleets. Because aviation risk is highly specialised, cover is structured around the specific aircraft, its use, routes, and pilot experience. We work with specialist underwriters to place the right programme so owners and operators meet regulatory requirements and are protected against high-value exposures.

Your Journey
  1. Tap Buy & share aircraft & usage details
  2. Specialist risk assessment
  3. Receive a structured quote
  4. Complete documentation & payment
  5. Cover placed

Special or specialist insurance covers risks that fall outside standard policies and need bespoke underwriting. This includes things like marine cargo, contractors' all risks and engineering, professional indemnity for specific fields, events and exhibitions, fine art and valuables, agriculture and livestock, and other niche or high-value exposures. Rather than forcing your risk into an off-the-shelf product, we assess exactly what needs protecting and arrange tailored cover with the right underwriters. If you have an unusual asset, project, or liability and aren't sure it can be insured, this is where to start.

Your Journey
  1. Tap Buy & describe the risk
  2. We assess & source cover
  3. Receive a bespoke quote
  4. Complete documentation & payment
  5. Specialist cover in place

Pet insurance helps you manage the cost of caring for your dog, cat, or other companion animal. Depending on the plan it covers veterinary treatment for accidents and illness, surgery and hospitalisation, and may include third-party liability if your pet injures someone or damages property. It means you can say yes to the treatment your pet needs without the vet bill dictating the decision. Ideal for owners who want predictable pet-care costs and peace of mind that an unexpected illness or accident won't become a financial strain.

Your Journey
  1. Tap Buy & share your pet's details
  2. We recommend a suitable plan
  3. Complete the short proposal
  4. Pay your premium
  5. Your pet is covered

Gadget insurance protects your valuable electronics, smartphones, laptops, tablets, cameras and similar devices, against accidental damage, liquid damage, theft, and sometimes mechanical breakdown outside warranty. Given how much we rely on these devices and how expensive they are to repair or replace, a small premium turns a cracked screen or stolen phone into a quick claim rather than an unplanned cost. Cover can extend to worldwide use, so your devices are protected while you travel. Ideal for professionals, students, and anyone whose work or life depends on their gadgets.

Your Journey
  1. Tap Buy & list your devices
  2. We confirm value & premium
  3. Complete the short proposal
  4. Make payment
  5. Gadgets protected

Travel insurance protects you against the things that can go wrong on a trip. It typically covers emergency medical treatment and evacuation abroad, trip cancellation or curtailment, lost or delayed baggage, flight delays, and personal liability while travelling. Many visa applications (such as Schengen) require it. Whether you are travelling for business, study, or holiday, it means an illness, accident, or disruption far from home becomes a supported claim rather than a crisis. We match the cover to your destination, trip length, and activities, with single-trip or annual multi-trip options.

Your Journey
  1. Tap Buy & share trip details
  2. We pick the right plan & region
  3. Confirm premium
  4. Make payment
  5. Certificate issued for your trip

Short term policies provide cover for a brief, defined period rather than a full year, useful when your need is temporary. Examples include short-period motor cover, single-trip travel, event or exhibition cover, contractors' cover for a specific project, or bridging cover while you arrange a longer policy. You pay only for the period you actually need, which keeps it cost-effective for one-off situations. We help you choose the right short-term product and ensure there are no gaps between covers so you are never unintentionally exposed.

Your Journey
  1. Tap Buy & tell us the period & need
  2. We confirm the right product
  3. Confirm premium
  4. Make payment
  5. Short-term cover issued

Funds & Fixed Income

Treasury Bonds and Bills are loans you give to the Government of Kenya through the Central Bank (CBK). Bills are short-term (91, 182 or 364 days) and are bought at a discount, while bonds run from 2 up to 30 years and pay you fixed interest every six months until they mature and your capital is returned. They are among the safest investments available because they are government-backed. You invest from a minimum of KES 50,000 (or as little as KES 3,000 through the M-Akiba mobile platform) and need a CDS account with the CBK. Recent T-Bill yields have ranged roughly 12–16% and bonds up to about 13%, with interest taxed at a reduced withholding rate. Ideal for safety-focused investors who want predictable, government-guaranteed income.

A Money Market Fund is a regulated unit trust that pools investors' money and invests it in short-term, interest-earning instruments like Treasury bills, fixed bank deposits and high-quality commercial paper. Think of it as a smart savings tool: safer than chasing hype, more rewarding than idle cash in a bank, and liquid enough for real life, with withdrawals usually processed within 1–3 working days. You can start with as little as KES 100, your interest accrues daily, and the fund is regulated by the Capital Markets Authority (CMA). Returns move with interest rates; in early 2026 most funds settled below 10% net after the 15% withholding tax, down from the 15–18% of prior years. Best used for your emergency fund and short-term goals.

Select the company you'd like to invest your MMF with:

An Equity Fund invests mainly in shares of companies listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE), aiming for higher returns over the medium to long term through capital growth and dividends. Because the value rises and falls with the stock market, it carries a medium-to-high risk level and short-term volatility, but historically equities outperform fixed income over long horizons. It suits investors with a higher risk appetite and goals that are several years away, such as long-term wealth building or generational planning. A small portion is usually kept in liquid assets so the fund can meet withdrawals without selling at a loss.

A Balanced Fund (sometimes called a Growth Fund) blends both equities and fixed-income securities in one portfolio. The aim is to offer reasonable current income together with long-term capital growth, while diversification cushions some of the downside risk. This gives a middle-ground risk-reward profile, making it a natural choice for investors who want growth but aren't comfortable with a pure stock fund, or those transitioning from conservative to growth-oriented investing. You get a professionally managed mix without having to juggle separate equity and bond allocations yourself.

A Fixed Income Fund (also called a Bond Fund) invests in a diversified portfolio of interest-bearing securities: Treasury bills and bonds, corporate bonds, preference shares and other approved instruments. Its goal is a steady, regular income stream and stability of your capital rather than aggressive growth. It is relatively lower risk than equity or balanced funds, making it well suited to risk-averse investors seeking dependable income, or anyone wanting a safe haven during periods of stock-market instability. A practical building block for retirees and conservative savers.

A Multi-Strategy Bond Fund actively manages a mix of fixed-income strategies across Kenyan and East African government securities, corporate bonds and other debt instruments, rather than tracking a single approach. By moving between short- and long-term securities and high-yield opportunities, the manager aims to deliver stronger, more resilient returns than a plain bond fund while still being anchored in fixed income. These funds typically target moderate to aggressive investors who want bond-style income with more active management, and may carry slightly longer settlement or lock-in periods in exchange for the higher yield potential.

Special Funds are a flexible, CMA-regulated category that faces fewer investment restrictions than traditional unit trusts, allowing managers to pursue sophisticated, actively managed multi-asset strategies, often investing globally across equities, bonds, derivatives and commodities. Some use long/short trading models designed to generate returns in all market conditions. Kenya's best-known example has delivered around 20% net in a recent year. They are one of the fastest-growing segments of the market but typically suit medium-to-high-risk investors who can accept a lock-in period (often six months) in exchange for higher return potential. Always confirm the fund is CMA-licensed before investing.

Direct & Alternative

Real estate investment means putting your money into property, residential or commercial, for rental income, capital appreciation, or both. In Kenya you can own property directly, or invest indirectly through Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and development funds that let you participate with smaller amounts. Property is a popular long-term store of value and a hedge against inflation, though it is less liquid than funds and requires careful due diligence on location, title and management. It works well for investors with a long horizon who want a tangible, income-generating asset in their portfolio.

Buying stocks means owning shares directly in companies listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange, giving you a stake in the business and a share of profits through dividends and price growth. You trade through a licensed stockbroker and need a CDS account. Stocks offer strong long-term growth potential but come with higher volatility, so prices can swing in the short term. They suit hands-on investors willing to research companies and hold through market cycles. For those who prefer professional management and instant diversification, an Equity Fund offers exposure to the same market without picking individual shares.

Forex (foreign exchange) trading involves buying and selling currency pairs to profit from changes in exchange rates. In Kenya, online forex trading is regulated by the CMA, and you should only trade through a CMA-licensed broker. It is a high-risk, fast-moving market where it is possible to lose money quickly, so it demands education, discipline and risk management, never money you cannot afford to lose. The CMA has repeatedly warned the public against unlicensed forex schemes, which offer no recourse if things go wrong. Approached carefully and with proper guidance, forex can diversify a portfolio and offer protection against currency volatility.

Private Wealth Management is a personalised, professionally managed service for individuals and families with larger portfolios who want a tailored strategy rather than an off-the-shelf fund. It typically combines investment management across multiple asset classes with financial, tax, retirement and estate planning, all coordinated around your specific goals and risk profile. A dedicated advisor builds and rebalances your portfolio, gives ongoing advice, and helps preserve and grow wealth across generations. It is best suited to high-net-worth clients who value bespoke strategy, discretion and a single point of contact for their entire financial picture.

Cryptocurrency refers to digital assets such as Bitcoin and Ethereum that trade on online exchanges. They have attracted strong interest in Kenya for their high return potential, but they are extremely volatile and prices can rise or fall dramatically in short periods. Regulation is still evolving, and the CMA has warned the public against unlicensed crypto investment schemes, which carry a high risk of fraud and offer little recourse for losses. If you choose to invest, treat it as a small, speculative portion of a diversified portfolio, use reputable platforms, and never commit money you cannot afford to lose. Education and caution are essential.

Past performance is not a guarantee of future returns. All investments carry risk. Always confirm a product is CMA-licensed and seek professional advice before investing.

Trust Funds

72.34%
of all wealth transfers fail at each generation

A well-structured Trust Fund ensures your assets — insurance payouts, investments, property — reach your children exactly when and how you intended.

Not the courts. Not the relatives. YOU decide. 💡

What a Trust Fund Does

A trust is a legal arrangement where you (the settlor) transfer assets to a trustee, who holds and manages them for the people you choose (your beneficiaries), under rules that you set. Unlike a Will, assets in a trust typically bypass the lengthy, public probate process and pass privately and directly. You decide the conditions: at what age your children receive funds, how much, for what purpose — education, a home, a business — and what protections apply along the way.

Why Families Choose a Trust

Avoids probateAssets pass without the courts, the delays, the Gazette notices, or the public exposure.
You stay in controlYou set exactly when and how beneficiaries receive — no surprises, no free-for-all.
Protects beneficiariesShields young, vulnerable, or inexperienced heirs from creditors, predators, and poor decisions.
Consolidates everythingInsurance payouts, investments, and property managed under one structured plan.
Keeps it privateYour wealth and your wishes stay confidential, not part of a public record.
Preserves across generationsWealth is structured to survive, not scatter, at each handover.

The 72% that fails doesn't fail because families didn't care. It fails because there was no structure — money arrived too soon, in the wrong hands, fought over in court, or eroded by taxes, debts and disputes. A trust is the structure that breaks that cycle.

Estate Planning

Estate planning is how you decide what happens to everything you've built — and who cares for those you love — before life forces the decision for you. Most people rely on just two tools: a Will and a Power of Attorney. Both are important, but each has real flaws you should understand.

The Will

A Will is a legal document that states how your assets should be distributed after you die, names an executor to manage your estate, and can nominate guardians for your children. Without one, you die "intestate" and the government's default succession rules decide who inherits, which often does not match your wishes and can leave dependants exposed. A clear Will is a vital first step.

But a Will has flaws:
  • It only works after death. A Will does nothing while you are alive but incapacitated — it cannot help if you fall ill or lose mental capacity.
  • It must go through probate. Before anything is distributed, the Will is validated by the High Court. In Kenya this process is public, is advertised in the Kenya Gazette for objections, and the grant is typically only confirmed after six months — often much longer.
  • It is public, not private. Probate makes your estate and its contents a matter of public record, open to scrutiny.
  • It can be contested. Wills are challenged on grounds of fraud, coercion, undue influence, or lack of capacity, and dependants left out can apply to court for provision, potentially overriding your wishes.
  • It is easily outdated. A Will that isn't updated after marriage, divorce, a new child, or new assets can distribute your estate in ways you never intended.

Power of Attorney

A Power of Attorney (POA) is a document that lets you appoint a trusted person to act on your behalf — for example, to manage your finances or make decisions if you cannot. Unlike a Will, it works during your lifetime, which makes it the natural companion to a Will for handling incapacity. In Kenya it must be properly executed and witnessed to be valid.

But a Power of Attorney has flaws:
  • It dies when you do. A POA ends at death — at exactly the moment your estate needs handling, it stops working and the Will/probate process takes over.
  • It depends entirely on trust. You are handing someone real power over your affairs. A dishonest or careless attorney can misuse it, and abuse is hard to detect until damage is done.
  • An ordinary POA can lapse on incapacity. Unless it is specifically a durable/enduring power, it may become invalid the moment you lose mental capacity — which is often the very situation you were planning for.
  • It can be too broad or too narrow. Poorly drafted, it either grants more power than you intended or fails to cover the decisions that actually arise.
  • Third parties may resist it. Banks and institutions sometimes question or delay acting on a POA, especially if it is old or unclear.

Why You Need More Than the Basics

A Will and a POA are essential, but on their own they leave gaps: the delay and exposure of probate, the lifetime/after-death split, and the risk of disputes. This is why stronger plans add tools like trusts (which can bypass probate, stay private, and protect beneficiaries) and keep beneficiary designations and asset titles current. The right combination depends on your family, your assets, and your wishes — and that's exactly what we help you design.

This is general information, not legal advice. Estate documents should be drawn up with a qualified advocate. We'll guide you and work alongside the right legal professionals for your situation.

Tax Awareness

Tax is one of the biggest leaks in any wealth journey — yet most of it is avoidable through awareness and proper planning. Here's what every Kenyan individual and business should understand right now.

eTIMS — The New Rules You Cannot Ignore

eTIMS (the Electronic Tax Invoice Management System) is KRA's digital platform for issuing and transmitting tax invoices in real time, each stamped with a unique QR code. What changed is who it applies to: the January 2026 expansion removed the old distinction between VAT-registered and non-VAT taxpayers, bringing virtually all income earners — businesses, professionals, landlords, and online sellers — under eTIMS.

The rule that bites hardest: from the 2026 year of income, any expense not supported by a valid eTIMS invoice cannot be claimed as a deductible business expense. The Finance Act amendments now write eTIMS into the very definition of an "allowable expense," even for everyday costs like utilities, office supplies and vendor payments. KRA's new Income and Expense Validation Engine automatically cross-checks every entry in your return against eTIMS data — and increasingly against your bank and M-Pesa records — so non-compliance is flagged the moment you file, not just at audit.

A few sensible exclusions remain (such as salaries, imports, airline tickets, bank charges, and services by non-residents), but the direction is clear. Landlords are squarely included: those on the Monthly Rental Income regime must register and issue eTIMS invoices too, and KRA has already issued well over a hundred thousand compliance notices, with penalties reaching as high as KES 1,000,000 or 200% of the tax due. The takeaway is simple — get registered, issue compliant invoices for every sale, and make sure your suppliers do the same, or you lose the deductions and risk penalties.

Tax Relief Options in Kenya

The flip side of compliance is opportunity: Kenya offers several legitimate reliefs and deductions that lower what you actually pay. Knowing and claiming them is one of the easiest ways to keep more of your money.

Personal ReliefEvery resident earner automatically gets KES 2,400 per month (KES 28,800 a year) knocked off their tax.
Insurance ReliefClaim 15% of premiums paid on life, health, or education policies — up to a maximum relief of KES 5,000 per month (KES 60,000 a year).
Pension / Provident ContributionsContributions to a registered retirement scheme are deductible up to KES 30,000 per month (KES 360,000 a year), reducing your taxable income before tax is applied.
Mortgage Interest DeductionInterest on a loan for an owner-occupied home is deductible up to KES 360,000 a year — now extended to include construction costs under the Finance Act 2025.
SHIF ContributionsContributions to the Social Health Insurance Fund are treated as an allowable deduction from your gross pay before tax.
NSSF ContributionsStatutory NSSF contributions are a pre-tax deduction that lowers your taxable income.
Post-Retirement Medical FundContributions to an approved post-retirement medical fund are allowable up to the stated limit.
Disability ExemptionPersons with disability holding a valid KRA/NCPWD certificate enjoy a large exemption — the first KES 150,000 per month of income can be exempt from PAYE.

Tax rules and limits change with each Finance Act and KRA directive. The above reflects the position as understood in 2026 and is general information, not personalised tax advice. We'll help you apply what's relevant to your exact situation.

Business Advisory & Coaching

Behind every growing business is a founder making big decisions, often alone. A business coach changes that. We sit beside you as a thinking partner and an accountability partner: helping you see your numbers clearly, set the right goals, build the systems your business needs to scale, and stay disciplined enough to actually get there. The job of a coach is not to run your business for you, but to draw out your best thinking, challenge your blind spots, and turn vision into a practical, measurable plan.

Business Incubation

If you have an idea or an early-stage venture, incubation is where we help you turn it into something real and fundable. We work with you to validate the idea, shape a viable business model, get your financials and structure right, and prepare you to launch and attract customers or investors. Think of it as a greenhouse for your business: a supported environment where a fragile early idea is nurtured, stress-tested, and grown into a venture that can stand on its own.

Innovation

Markets move fast, and standing still is the real risk. We help you build innovation into how your business operates, from rethinking your products and services, to adopting digital tools and going paperless, to finding smarter, leaner ways to deliver value. Drawing on real experience taking organisations end-to-end digital, we help you modernise your processes, cut waste, and open new revenue streams so your business stays ahead rather than catching up.

Training

A business is only as strong as its people. We design and deliver practical training for founders, management, and teams, covering financial literacy, sales, customer service, leadership, and the specific skills your business needs to perform. Training is hands-on and built for the African business reality, so your team leaves not just informed, but able to apply what they have learned from day one.

Whether you are launching, scaling, or transforming, tell us about your business below and we will design the right advisory, incubation, innovation, or training support for you.

Retirement Planning

Build an income that outlives your working years. Most plans can be taken as Single or Joint with your spouse. Click a plan to read about it, then tap Buy Now.

A Pension Fund is a long-term savings plan that turns the money you set aside during your working years into a steady income in retirement. You contribute regularly (monthly), the fund is professionally invested and grows over time, and at retirement you take up to one third as a tax-free lump sum while the rest provides regular income through an annuity or income drawdown. It is the disciplined backbone of retirement planning — separate from NSSF, fully portable if you change jobs, and regulated by the Retirement Benefits Authority (RBA). You can hold it as a single plan or jointly with your spouse.

Your Journey
  1. Tap Buy Now & choose Single or Joint
  2. Set your monthly contribution
  3. Complete the proposal form
  4. Start contributing
  5. Enjoy income at retirement

A Provident Fund works much like a pension, you and/or your employer contribute monthly and the money is invested for your retirement, but the key difference comes at the end: with a provident fund you can take 100% of your accrued benefits as a single lump sum when you retire. This gives maximum flexibility for those who want full control of their money at retirement, for example to clear a mortgage, start a business, or reinvest. It is regulated by the RBA and remains 100% yours even if you change employers. Available as a single or joint plan.

Your Journey
  1. Tap Buy Now & choose Single or Joint
  2. Set your monthly contribution
  3. Complete the proposal form
  4. Start contributing
  5. Take your lump sum at retirement

Have you worked for several employers over the years and lost track of your pension savings? Pension Reconciliation is the process of tracing, consolidating, and reconciling the retirement benefits you accumulated across different employers and schemes, so nothing is left forgotten or unclaimed. Many Kenyans have money sitting in old schemes they have lost sight of. We help you locate those benefits, confirm the correct balances, and bring them together into a clear picture, and where possible consolidate them into one plan you actually control.

Your Journey
  1. Tap Buy Now & list your previous employers
  2. We trace your old scheme benefits
  3. We reconcile and confirm balances
  4. Consolidate where possible
  5. One clear retirement picture

An Annuity turns your retirement savings into a guaranteed income for life. You hand your accumulated pension lump sum to an approved provider, and in return they pay you a fixed, regular income (monthly, quarterly, or annually) for as long as you live, removing the worry of outliving your money. An annuity can be immediate (payments start now) or deferred (you delay the start by a set number of years to boost the eventual payout). Once chosen, an annuity is locked for life, so it suits those who value certainty and a guaranteed cheque above flexibility. Available as single life or joint life with your spouse.

Your Journey
  1. Tap Buy Now & choose Single or Joint
  2. Enter your age & deferred years
  3. We compute your guaranteed income
  4. Complete the proposal
  5. Receive income for life

Income Drawdown is the flexible alternative to an annuity. Instead of locking your savings into a fixed income, your retirement lump sum stays invested and continues to grow while you draw a regular income from it. You keep control: you can adjust how much you take (subject to RBA limits), and the fund must run for a minimum of 10 years, after which you can withdraw the balance, continue drawing, or buy an annuity. It suits retirees aged 50+ who are comfortable with investment and want flexibility and the chance of further growth, rather than a fixed cheque. Available single or joint.

Your Journey
  1. Tap Buy Now & choose Single or Joint
  2. Enter your age & deferred years
  3. We structure your drawdown plan
  4. Complete the proposal
  5. Draw a flexible income

An Endowment Fund is a goal-based savings plan that combines disciplined saving with a layer of life protection. You decide on a target — either a lump sum you want to reach (Target Amount) or a comfortable amount you can set aside each month (Monthly Amount) — and the plan accumulates value with bonuses over a fixed term, paying out at maturity. If something happens to you before maturity, the plan still pays the benefit, protecting your goal. It is ideal for building a guaranteed nest egg for retirement or any major future milestone. Available as a single or joint plan.

Your Journey
  1. Tap Buy Now & choose Single or Joint
  2. Pick Target Amount or Monthly Amount
  3. We design your plan & term
  4. Complete the proposal
  5. Watch your fund grow

The Founder

My Story — Mugalo (TK)

My journey in insurance and financial services began with a simple conviction: that in a third-world economy where the vast majority of people remain uninsured and under-protected, the right financial advice can completely change the trajectory of a family. While insurance penetration in our region has long sat in the low single digits, I made it my personal mission to be part of the solution — one client, one agent, one conversation at a time.

Over the years, that mission has put me among the top performers in the industry. I am a proud AKI (Association of Kenya Insurers) qualifier and an Agent of the Year Awards qualifier — recognition earned not by chance, but through consistent results, integrity, and a genuine commitment to the people I serve. These milestones matter to me less as trophies and more as proof that doing right by clients and building real protection into people's lives is also the path to lasting success.

Driving Insurance Penetration

I have dedicated my career to closing the protection gap in a market where most people still have no cover at all. By making insurance simple, relatable, and built around real human needs rather than jargon, I have helped move countless families and businesses from completely exposed to properly protected — contributing, in my own way, to deepening insurance penetration in a third-world country where it is needed most.

Pioneering Digital Innovation

One of the achievements I am most proud of is the role I played in helping ICEA LION transition their processes to paperless. I was key in the building of an end-to-end digital agents app — a tool that took the entire agent journey, from onboarding a client to submitting business, fully digital. It removed paperwork, cut turnaround times, reduced errors, and made it dramatically easier for agents to serve clients anywhere. For this and other contributions, I have been recognised and awarded for outstanding innovation.

Spotting, Recruiting & Building Agents

I have a deep passion for people and talent. Over the years I have spotted and recruited agents who, with the right mentorship and belief, have gone on to become some of the most successful professionals in the industry. Helping a new agent find their footing — then watching them grow into a top producer and a leader in their own right — remains one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

Training Thousands Across the Globe

Knowledge changes everything. I have trained thousands of people across the globe — from brand-new agents taking their first steps in the profession, to seasoned advisors sharpening their craft, to ordinary people learning to take control of their finances. I have built and delivered training for new agents entering the field, equipping them with the skills, confidence, and ethics to build careers that last. Whether in a packed hall or a one-on-one mentorship, my goal is always the same: to leave people more capable, more confident, and better protected than I found them.

The Mission Continues

Numbers Don't Lie is the culmination of everything I have learned: that wealth is built on facts, not feelings; that protection is not a luxury but a foundation; and that when you empower one person with the right knowledge and the right cover, you change the future of an entire family. That mission is just getting started — and I would be honoured to walk that journey with you.
